In RAKIA free zone, the type of license(s) depends on the type of activities License Types Are:

  • General Trading License
  • Commercial / Trading License
  • Consulting / Services License
  • Industrial License
  • Media License

The costs of a RAK free zone company for different types of license are as follows:

  • General Trading License– AED 26500 [US$ 7280] but not including Office space or Warehouse space. Renewal fee is AED 15,000 [US$ 4120].
  • Consulting License– AED 21500 [US$ 5900] but not including office space. Renewal fee is AED 10000 [US$ 2740].
  • Media License– AED 24500 [US$ 6730] but not including office space. Renewal fee is AED 10000 [US$ 2740].
  • Commercial / Trading License– AED 19500 [US$ 5360] but not including Office or Warehouse space. Renewal fee is AED 8000 [US$ 2200].
  • Industrial License– AED 26500 [US$ 7280] but not including warehouse space. Renewal fee is AED 15000 [US$ 4120]. Number of visas will be as per business requirement.For Industrial License, the initial capital required for a business set-up is AED 200000 [US$ 54950] for a Free Zone LLC and AED 150000 [US$ 41200] for a Free Zone Establishment. For LLC companies, if more than 2 a partner, then AED 100000 [US$ 27470] per new partner is required.At present, the annual lease rent for land is AED 12/- per sq.mtr. Per year in Al Ghail Industrial Park.The minimum area available is 5,000 sq.mtr Please note that you are allowed to build labor / staff accommodation on your plot. Also, they have built their own power plant for their clients in Al Ghail Industrial Park. Land is available in both Free Zone and Non Free Zone. Please note that they have separate warehouses for Free Zone as well as Non Free Zone. The minimum size of warehouses is 312 sq.mtr. The annual lease rent for warehouse is AED 200/- per sq.mtr. Per year including service charge. The office space rent at the RAKIA Amenity Centre Office Space is AED 70 per sq.ft. Per year. If you need any employee visas you need to have a minimum 10 sq mtr office at about AED. 8,000 [US$ 2,200] per annum. This allows you to be eligible for for 4 visas. The 3 year visa costs are around AED. 4,500 [US$ 1,230]. Documents required are completed application form, utility bill, passport copies of partners and bank reference letters of partners Our fee for completing the RAKIA free zone process is AED 10000 [US$ 2740].

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I want to setup my business office in any one location UAE ( dubai, sharajah , abu dhabi ).

    I am a single share holder of my garment manufacturing Company in india i want to do business with local citizen of UAE ( specially Indians , pakistani, Bangladeshi , srilankans ) as they are my potenital customers for the ethnic garments that i manufacture .

    I also want to setup an online website in dubai for my garments which i can sell to the customers in UAE ( dubai , sharajah , abu dhabi ).
    1 customers can directly order them frm my website ,

    2 sell products door to door in UAE or with special offers for my potential customers.

    Note : i am also looking for a office space ( 200 sq feet - 800
    sq feet ).
    2 Atleast 4 work visa for employees.

    I am looking a cost effective space for my business as i am a small Entrepreneur.

    Kindly advise me in this regard n also provide me the price offer that u can provide me in my budget.

    i may also tell u that my budget is around ( 15,000, 35,000 AED ) for the above requirements as i hve mentioned

      Many Thanks for your inquiry.

      Do you want to open a garment showroom? If yes, then you can either set up your business as a Local Company or a Free Zone company. In a Local Company, you can choose an office anywhere in UAE but in a Free Zone Company, you can only have an office inside the Free Zone area.

      400 - 500 square ft office space is entitled for 4 - 5 visas. In your budget of AED 35,000 we can be able to register a Local Company.
